Karen Bobley attended Long Island University (LIU) Post in Brookville, NY where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1995. Ms. Bobley continued her studies at St. John's University School of Law. While in law school, she interned for a former Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals at his arbitration and mediation firm in Great Neck, NY. Upon graduating, Ms. Bobley worked as a staff trial attorney in the criminal division of the Nassau County Legal Aid Society. Here she gained invaluable courtroom and trial experience handling a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases from investigation to verdict. Following her four year tenure in this position, Ms. Bobley entered private practice in 2003. She then became an associate for an experienced criminal defense attorney and continued to gain experience throughout the court system. Ms. Bobley has been Of Counsel to Sapone & Petrillo, LLP since 2009. She practices exclusively in the area of criminal defense.
